Hey everyone!

Really sorry about the lack of updates this site keeps getting but we will sort it out one day. We’ve both been really busy recently helping set up Manchester’s new autonomous space Subrosa, things are starting to look really good and hopefully we’ll be set up and doing a roaring trade very soon.

So, as you may have guessed by the title, we have some new records coming out really soon.

Cop Problem – Buried Beneath White Noise 7″ EP

Cop Problem’s second release, more furiously political crusty hardcore. Their self titled 7″ was one of the first records we put out and since then they’ve been playing shows (or gigs if you prefer) with the likes of Leftover Crack, Converge and loads more. They’re about to embark on a few dates around north east USA with Enabler including a slot at New England Hardcore and Metal Fest. More details on these here.

 Rivers Run Dry/Drip Of Lies split 7″

This has been out for some time in Europe but we’ll be getting our copies pretty soon. This is Rivers Run Dry at their bleakest but still just as brilliant as always and the Drip Of Lies side is an amazing piece of epic anti-fascist  crust. Most of the other labels that helped release it have been saying that this is for fans of From Ashes Rise before they went shit. Can’t argue with that!

No Confidence – Keep Going Nowhere 12″

These guys play brilliant melodic hardcore kinda like Kid Dynamite, Limp Wrist, 88 Fingers Louie etc. and feature members of bands like xKATExMOSHx, Taste The Floor and loads more.  Really excited to get this out, should hopefully be with us really soon too!

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since we updated this but we have loads of massive news!

First up, we’ve got a new record out! Atterkop’s debut EP is released officially today, we’ve helped put the tape out alongside our Bristolian brethren Riot Ska Records and German cassette powerhouse Uga Uga Tapes. There are CDs also available from Riotska, Pumpkin, Unknown and Rodent Popsicle. For some reason they like to describe themselves as Dub/Punk but they really sound like late 90’s/early 00’s skacore bands like Capdown, Adequate seven, Five Knuckle but a lot more political, a lot faster and generally a lot better than most of those bands did. We’ve known the singer Chris for a long time and he was a massive help when we were starting up so when he started up a new band we knew we had to get involved in helping them out. They’re seriously one of the friendliest bands around.

Secondly, we’re going to be helping out Dutch anarchist superheroes Landverraad out with their upcoming split 12″ with an amazing political garage punk band from Belarus called Monday Suicide. Well excited for this one, you can hear a new track from Landverraad’s side of the split here.

Also, we’ll be helping out our Friend Luka (Panda Banda)’s band Human Host Body release their first 12″. Amazing anarcho/thrash/eco-crust from Slovenia, we (well, Fran) like to call it green metal but we don’t think that’ll catch on! We have both of their demo tapes in the distro but you can also check them out online here and here.

Lastly, we have added loads of stuff to the distro from two of our favourite record labels, Contraszt! Recs from Cologne, Germany and Halo Of Flies from Milwaukee, USA. loads to list here but check out the distro bits on the webstore for the additions.

Hey everyone!

Sorry, it seems like ages since we updated this. Even though it’s a bit late, we hope you all had an awesome time over the festive period. We know we did even though Fran got really ill, spent all boxing day asleep and throwing up and couldn’t even make it past 11 o’clock on New Year’s Eve! So, loads of stuff to tell you about anyway…

WE’VE GOT A NEW RECORD OUT!!!!

Scottish Socio-political crust/violence heroes Filthpact have teamed up with Colombian PV legends Chulo on this amazing slab of wax. You can get it for £3 plus postage here.

New records out this year will include a tape from modern skacore band (and awesome friends of ours) Atterkop, Cop Problem‘s brilliant new 7″ EP ‘Buried Beneath White Noise’, a split 7″ EP between Rivers Run Dry and Drip Of Lies (check the Drip Of Lies link to hear their side, it’s amazing), plus a split 12″ between anti-fascist black metal band Marnost (feat. members of Gattaca and Remek) and experimental crust band Oaken. There a couple of bits that are a bit too fresh to mention yet but rest assured they’ll be brilliant.

Also, very quickly, we want to mention that we’re looking to expand the distro a lot more this year too. We have already got brilliant hauls so far from our Bristolian friends Riot Ska Records (including new records by Foolish, Opposition Rising, Union Jack etc)  and our new Portuguese friends Destroy It Yourself  (inc. new records by Catholic Guilt/INU, Antillectual, Relith etc.). We’re also hoping to get some stuff through from a couple of our favourite US/Euro labels very soon too.

Here’s the last dates to get your orders in to get them before Christmas, please note that this is according to The Royal Mail (UK) and not a guarantee but a good rough guide. If you miss these dates, don’t stress loads. Send us an email and we’ll send it priority but it will more than likely cost more for postage.

USA/Canada – 9th Dec

Europe – 13th Dec (For some reason, which isn’t made clear even though it’s connected to the UK by train, packages to France need to be posted earlier than the rest of Europe so it’s 9th for you guys, sorry!)

UK – 18th Dec

We have  a couple of new records currently in the works. Cop Problem (click the link for details and check out their bandcamp to hear the EP) have their second release already up for download and we’re helping put out the 7″ vinyl version, we’re really excited for this one!

The Rivers Run Dry and Drop of Lies split 7″ record is coming along too, we love both these bands and are really pleased to be working with RRD again. Drip of Lies have put their side of it up on their bandcamp here and we’ll have more news soon!

We have a couple of other exciting records coming up which are a bit too fresh to reveal yet but they are all going to be well worth the wait.

Finally we want to say a massive thank you to all the people who stopped by our stall at the Manchester & Salford Anarchist Bookfair. Whether you bought anything, grabbed some free stuff or just had a chat, we really appreciate it. Biggest thanks of course go to David and Veg for sorting out the whole day, you guys did a really good job and deserve a medal!

Hi!

This weekend sees the return of the annual Manchester and Salford Anarchist Bookfair. We’ll be there with our distro stall raising money for Manchester Social Centre  through sales of records, zines, tapes, patches etc. (MSC will also have a stall there so check those guys out too.)

There’s gonna be loads of talks and stalls including our friends Pumpkin Records, 0161 Festival, Manchester Animal Action, Teatime Collective (awesome pies!), IWW, Hunt Sabs, One Way Ticket To Cubesville Fanzine and loads more. It’s always a massively fun day so pop by if you can.

There’s also an afterparty at the Crescent pub (it’s ten minutes walk from the bookfair and apparently where Marx and Engel used to drink, although we have no proof of that) with Autonomads, Class Actions, Andy T and Black Light Mutants playing.

We’ve also got some new stickers and badges done, they’ll be thrown in for free with orders or given out at distro stalls. If you want some posting out to you, drop us a line at prejudice_me.co.uk.

Hello and welcome to our new website.

We’ve been talking for a while about setting up a site, but finally got ourselves into gear this weekend – we hope you like www.prejudiceme.co.uk. It’s still a work in progress, so we’d appreciate any feedback and recommendations of other things to include.

In other news, we’ve just had two new patch designs delivered (see pic below – thanks to EHC for printing them, and Alex and Dan for the designs). You can buy one for 50p, but we’re also giving one away free with every order.
