Prejudice Me are extremely pleased to support Soastasphrenas with their 2nd LP ‘Eris’, they describe themselves as ‘Sad & Violent Noise’ and are from Berlin.
Emoviolence is strangely having a bit of a renaissance at the moment and we are here for it all the way, although for most of us it never really went away. Eris is 12 tracks of soulcrushing blistering noise with cathartic screams raging over the top of it. Similar to early Stormo while also reminiscent of Prejudice Me Luminaries Eaglehaslanded and Trophies with hefty hints of The Path era Lentic Waters. Despite all of this, Soastasphrenas have created something extremely original, really pushing the genre to breaking point. It’s fucking amazing, there is a film to accompany it available on their YouTube channel.
